Valley Sports ReportWAVERLY — Chenango Valley won all five contested matches to post a 7-0 win over short-handed Waverly in STAC tennis action here Thursday afternoon.
Waverly senior Hayden Larson dropped a 6-1, 6-1 decision to CV’s Owen Stafford in the first singles, and Nathan McEwen lost a 6-2, 6-0 to CV’s Tantawat Jampar in third singles.
CV did not drop more than one game in any of the other three matches.
Waverly, now 0-8, hosts Oneonta Saturday at noon.
