WELLSBORO — Patrick Umber, Liam Sites, and Alissa Vough led the Athens boys and girls teams to third-place finishes here Tuesday at the NTL Junior High Track & Field Championships.

BOYS
Umber had four top-four finishes, and Sites had four top-five finishes to lead the junior Wildcats.

Wellsboro won the team title with 133 points, while runner-up Troy had 77 points, and Athens tallied 74 points.

Umber placed second in the 400-meter dash in 58.14 seconds, while Shayan Ankam was fifth in 1:05.69, and Rory Smart was sixth in 1:06.58.

Umber was also second in the high jump at 5-feet, while Liam Sites was fifth at 4-feet, 10-inches, and Iziah Bailey was 12th at 4-feet, 2-inches.

Umber finished third in the 200-meter dash in 25.98 seconds, while Bailey was 10th in 28.56 seconds, Smart was 11th in 28.78 seconds, and Sayre’s Jayden Torres was 14th in 29.61 seconds.

Umber placed fourth in the 100-meter dash in a time of 12.91 seconds, while Bailey was 11th in 13.69 seconds, and Smart was 14th in 13.9 seconds.

Sites finished third in the long jump with a leap of 16-feet, 5 1/2-inches, and Bailey was sixth at 13-feet, 7 1/2-inches.

Sites was also third in the triple jump with a mark of 31-feet, 5 1/2-inches, and Ryder Schmidt was 12th at 24-feet, 1/2-inch.

Sites placed fourth in the 1,600-meter run in a time of 5:29.82.

Ankam finished fourth in the 100-meter hurdles in a time of 19.16 seconds, while Ian Garrison was ninth in 20.48 seconds, and Sayre’s Torres was 12th in 21.7 seconds.

The 400- and 1,600-meter relays both finished fifth for the Wildcats. (No names provided.)

Judah Nason placed sixth in the shot put at 31-feet, 11-inches.

Thomas White placed eighth in the 800-meter run in a time of 2:39.91.

Smart finished ninth in the discus with a toss of 75-feet, 6-inches.

GIRLS
Wellsboro won the team title with 162 points, while runner-up Towanda had 75 points, and Athens tallied 59 points.

Vough won the 800-meter run in a time of 2:40.37, while Stella Unger was sixth in 2:55.12, and Allison Kemp was eighth in 3:00.21.

Vough was second in the 1,600-meter run in a time of 5:58.72, while Alexis Mayo was sixth in 6:25.82, and Unger was eighth in 6:32.54.

Athens placed second in the 1,600-meter relay, and fourth in the 400-meter relay. (No names provided.)

Ella Marhefka placed fourth in the 200-meter dash in a time of 29.96 seconds, while Lilli Miller was ninth in 31.72 seconds.

Marhefka finished sixth in the 100-meter dash in a time of 14.23 seconds, while Bilikula Wennie was seventh in 14.29 seconds, Miller was 10th in 14.42 seconds, and Latavia Catwell was 16th in 15.08 seconds.

Maleah Hadlock was fifth in the discus with a throw of 60-feet, while Towner was 14th at 43-feet, 9-inches, Sophia Brown was 15th at 43-feet, 9-inches, and Sayre’s Taylor Pellicano was 16th at 42-feet, 9-inches.

Haddock was 11th in the shout put at 24-feet, 1/2-inch, and Emma Towner was 14th at 22-feet, 10 1/2-inches.

Tatyanna Nasser finished sixth in the 400-meter dash in a time of 1:12.75, while Sophie Schmoyer was 14th in 1:24.65, and Adeline Burnett was 15th in 1:26.33.

Brooke Lyon placed sixth in the 100-meter hurdles in a time of 20.13 seconds, and Marlena Miller was 16th in 28.66 seconds.

Miller placed ninth in the high jump at 4-feet, and Sayre’s Eliana Bynum-Reyes was 13th at 3-feet, 10-inches, and Ellie Mosher was 14th at 3-feet, 8-inches.

Lyon was ninth in the triple jump with a mark of 25-feet, 1-inch, while Sayre’s Bynum-Reyes was 10th in 24-feet, 1 3/4-inches, and Kemp was 11th at 23-feet, 5-inches.

Lyon was 10th in the long jump at 11-feet, 10-inches, and Sayre’s Bynum-Reyes was 12th at 11-feet, 8-inches, and Catwell was 14th at 11-feet, 4-inches.
