THE VALLEY - The final week of the regular season on the diamonds begins Monday with five games on the docket, including baseball and softball games at Athens.

BASEBALL
Edison at Athens (8-10), 5 p.m.: The Wildcats are coming off an 11-0 win over Susquehanna Valley Thursday, while the Spartans rolled over Dryden, 29-2, on Tuesday.

Sayre (5-10) at Troy (13-4), 4:30 p.m.: The Redskins have lost five in a row, including a 5-4 decision to Wylausing Tuesday, while the Trojans topped NP-Mansfield, 13-4, Thursday for their fourth win in a row.

Waverly (13-4) at Maine-Endwell (13-4), 5 p.m.: The Wolverines are coming off a 2-0 win over Windsor Monday, while the Spartans dropped a 4-0 decision to Horseheads Wednesday.

SOFTBALL
Tioga (15-2) at Athens (10-7), 4:30 p.m.: The Tigers are coming off a 5-4 win over previously-unbeaten Union Springs Thursday in the IAC Small School Division championship game, while the Wildcats topped Wyalusing, 8-4, on Wednesday.

NEB (10-7) at Sayre (3-11), 4:30 p.m.: The Redskins are coming off a 15-4 loss to Wyalusing Monday, while the Panthers topped Susquehanna, 17-3.

NEB topped Sayre, 15-1, earlier this season.

Waverly at Watkins Glen Golf Course, 4 p.m.
