Valley Sports ReportTIOGA CENTER - Tioga wrapped up the regular season with three runs, and advanced to the IAC Small School junior varsity softball championship game with an 11-2 record on the season.
Tioga 12, SVEC 3Tioga scored six runs in the third inning to blow open a close game on its way to a 12-3 five-inningwin over SVEC.
Irie Lynch homered and singled, and scored two runs, and Kate Kithcart tripled and singled, and scored one run to pace Tioga’s nine-hit attack, while Adrienne Delmage doubled and scored two runs, and Jade Keaty singled and scored two runs.
Raegan Foley, and Sam Golden each singled and scored one run in the win, while Peyton Russell added a single, Brianna Lounsbury scored a pair of runs, and Cora Szymanski scored one run.
Tioga 11, SVEC 3Tioga jumped out to an 8-0 lead after two innings on its way to an 11-3 five-inning win over SVEC.
Kithcart doubled twice, scored two runs, and had two RBI, and Lynch singled, scored three runs, and had one RBI to lead Tioga at the plate.
Keaty singled and scored two runs in the win, while Golden added a single, Lounsbury scored two runs, and Szymanski and Foley each scored one run.
Tioga 14, Moravia 2Tioga led 6-1 after three innings, and blew the game open with right runs in the fourth inning en route to a 14-2 win over Moravia.
Lounsbury had three hits, including a triple, and scored one run to lead Tioga and the plate, while
Keaty singled twice and scored two runs, and Lindsey Jeffrey tripled and scored two runs.
Lynch singled and scored two runs in the win, while Golden singled and scored one run, Kithcart, and Delmage each scored two runs, and Russell, and Foley each scored one run.
Tioga takes on SVEC Monday for the overall IAC Championship.
