WAVERLY’S JOHNSON NAMED BISHOP BROTHERS CONSTRUCTION BOYS "ATHLETE OF THE WEEK"Johnson won Section IV titles in the 100- and 200-meter sprints — breaking his own school records in the process, and also ran on Waverly’s second-place 400-meter relay team.
Johnson won the 100-meter dash in a school-record time of 10.65 seconds, and followed that up by running a school record time of 21.52 seconds to win the 200-meter dash.
Johnson teamed with senior Micah Chandler, and juniors Kolsen Keathley, and Xavier Watson to finish second in the 400-meter relay in a season-best tie of 42.52 seconds.

TIOGA ROSSI NAMED BISHOP BROTHERS CONSTRUCTION GIRLS "ATHLETE OF THE WEEK"Just an 8th-grader, Rossi reached the State Qualifier in all four of her events, including three individual events.
Rossi won a bronze medal in the long with a leap of 16-feet, 2 3/4 inches.
Rossi finished 10th in the 200-meter dash, and 17th in the 100. She also ran on the 400-meter relay that finished 21st.
