SECTION IV GIRLS GOLF: WAVERLY'S ROBINSON NAMED FIRST-TEAM SECTION IV ALL-STAR (2024-06-06)
Valley Sports ReportWAVERLY — Waverly junior Breanne Robinson was a Section IV girls golf first-team all-star selection as announced recently by the Section IV girls golf coaches.
Robinson, who advanced to States as a sophomore, had a nine-hole scoring average of 46 this season heading into the Section IV Championships, where she shot a 99 to finish 10th — three strokes behind the final state qualifier.
Robinson is joined on the first team by Section IV champ Hailey Baughan of Lansing, as well as Corning’s Delaney Abel, Notre Dame’s Evelyn Wheeler, Vestal’s Allison Yoon, and Marathon’s Savanna Warfield.
The second team consists of Horseheads’ Ava Fairbrother, Mady Weigand, and Olivia Hatch, Lansing’s Miley Palmer, Vestal’s Jaelynn Wiggins.
