WAVERLY — Waverly had three young players — freshman Hannah Carpenter, and sophomores Maddie Cron and Delaney Wheeler — named to the Southern Tier Athletic Conference All-Central Division softball team.

ALL-CENTRAL DIVISION
Hannah Carpenter, freshman, Waverly: A strong-armed catcher, Carpenter hit a team-high .421 (24 hits in 57 ABs) with five doubles, two home runs, 13 RBI, 10 runs scored, and two stolen bases.

Maddie Cron, sophomore, Waverly: A good defender at the hot corner, Cron his .407 (22 hits in 54 ABs) with five doubles, one home run, 13 RBI, 16 runs scored, and three stolen bases.

Delaney Wheeler, sophomore, Waverly: A good defensive first baseman, Wheeler hit .278 (15 hits in 54 ABs) with two doubles, one triple, 14 RBI, and 13 runs scored.
