NTL VOLLEYBALL: COWANESQUE VALLEY SWEEPS PAST SAYRE (2024-09-10)

SAYRE — Cowanesque Valley got off to a fast start, and rolled to a sweep of Sayre here Tuesday night in NTL Small School Division volleyball action.

The Indians topped the Redskins by scores of 25-9, 25-9, and 25-14.

Freshman Reghan McGaughey led Sayre with four kills, two service aces, and seven digs, while senior Raegan Parrish had three kills, four digs, and 10 serve-receives, and freshman Yeleena Doon had nine setter assists, two aces, two kills, and three digs.

Sophomore Alex Schack recorded 10 digs, and 30 receives for the Redskins, and senior Mazlin VanDuzer added two kills and two assists.

Sayre, now 0-4, returns to action Thursday when it hosts Williamson.
