IAC VOLLEYBALL: TIOGA ROLLS TO SWEEP OF WATKINS GLEN (24 PHOTOS) (2024-09-16)
Valley Sports ReportTIOGA CENTER — Tioga got off to a fast start, and cruised to a sweep of Watkins Glen here Monday night in IAC volleyball action.
The Tigers, now 3-0, won by scores of 25-11, 25-19, and 25-10.
Junior RaeAnne Feeko led Tioga with 10 service points and five kills, while junior Mia Hall registered six points, four kills, three kills, and two digs, senior Kali Bailey had three points, three digs, two blocks, and a team-high eight kills.
Lydiah Decker had three points, six kills and two digs for the Tigers, while Alyson Chamberlain added three points, and junior Lilly Mezzatesta had two points, three kills, one block, and two digs.
Sophomore Jade Keaty added two assists and three digs, Mary Divers had two points, and sophomore Vanessa Tunnicliff and Kendra Noe chipped in with two assists apiece.
JV: Tioga swept Watkins Glen by scores of 25-16 and 25-17 in the junior varsity match.
Vida Rossi led Tioga with eight points, including four aces, while Kate Kithcart had four points — all aces, Sadi Marshall had six points, Peyton Black registered three points and three kills, Courtney Smith added four points, and Sara Prough chipped in with two points.
Tioga returns to action Wednesday when it hosts Dryden.
