STAC BOYS GOLF: WALTER EARSN LOW-MEDAL HONORS, BUT WAVERLY FALLS TO CV (2024-09-18)
Valley Sports ReportBINGHAMTON — Waverly freshman Griff Walter earned low-medal honors, but it wasn’t enough as the Wolverines dropped a 256-272 decision here Wednesday afternoon at the Chenango Valley State Park Course.
Walter fired a 43 on the par-36 on the back nine, while junior Mac Talada and senior Carson McIsaac each shot rounds of 54, senior Devyn Kinney added a 60, and freshman Daniel Brody tacked on a 61.
Sophomore Daniel Fischer had a non-scoring round of 63.
Owen Harrison led CV with a 45.
Waverly, now 0-6, returns to action next Thursday against Susquehanna Valley at the Conklin Players Club.
