NTL VOLLEYBALL: DIVISION-LEADING TROY SWEEPS ATHENS (2024-09-25)

TROY — Large School-leading Troy remained unbeaten in divisional play with a sweep of Athens here Wednesday night in NTL volleyball action.

The Trojans won by scores of 25-13, 25-23, and 25-14.

Senior Kassie Babcock led the Wildcats with 11 digs, 13 kills, and two aces, while senior Sydney Field dished out 10 setter assists, senior Ella Coyle recorded 21 digs, and and senior Emma Renninger added nine assists.

Senior Keaton Wiles registered six kills and 10 digs, while senior Gretchen Schmieg recorded four digs, freshman Ellie Mosher added three aces, and senior Anna Geisinger chipped in with two digs.

Athens, now 1-6, hosts Canton Monday.
