THE VALLEY — The fall season hits the midpoint this week, and it’s another busy week.

There are 36 events on this week’s docket, including 11 on Tuesday and seven on Thursday.

The following are all of the home varsity events this week, and a few of the notable road events:

MONDAY (2)
•  Athens volleyball hosts Canton.

TUESDAY (11)
•  Athens hosts Wellsboro in an NTL Large School girls soccer match-up.

• Athens hosts Towanda in its second home volleyball match in as many night.

•  Tioga hosts IAC girls soccer rival SVEC under the lights on Haggery Field.

•  Seeking its first win, Tioga field hockey hosts Newark Valley.

WEDNESDAY (6)
•  The Tioga boys host Newark Valley on the pitch at Haggerty Field.

•  The Waverly boys host Oneonta at The Club at Shepard Hills.

THURSDAY (7)
•  Waverly “hosts” Windsor on the volleyball hardwoods at Tioga Central High School.

• Waverly hosts STAC Central Division soccer rival Owego under the lights at Memorial Stadium.

•  Waverly hosts Owego in its second home boys golf match in as many days at Shepard Hills.

FRIDAY (5)
• Tioga hosts Class D rival Delhi on the gridiron at Haggerty Field.

•  Waverly returns home to play divisional football rival Schuyler.

•  Coming off its first win of the season, Sayre football is on the road at South Williamsport.

•  The Waverly boys host Chenango Forks on the pitch on the high school field.

SATURDAY (5)
•  Athens hosts longtime NTL football rival Towanda under the lights at Memorial Stadium.
