WAVERLY’S KITTLE NAMED BISHOP BROTHERS CONSTRUCTION GIRLS “ATHLETES OF THE WEEK”Kittle broke a pair of pool records in individual events, and also swam on a pair of relays that set new pool records in a win at Susquehanna Valley.
Kittle set new pool records in the 50-yard freestyle (24.92 seconds), and in the 100-yard backstroke (59.69 seconds which meets state cut). Both records had stood since 2011.
Kittle also swam on the record-breaking 200-yard medley, and 400-yard freestyle relays.

ATHENS’ HICKS, WANCK NAMED BISHOP BROTHERS CONSTRUCTION BOYS “ATHLETES OF THE WEEK”Hick shot a two-day total of 158 to finish second at the District 4, Class AAA Golf Championships, and advance to the PIAA Championships.
Hicks led the field after Round 1 with a 73. He shot an 85 on Day 2.
A week removed from a fifth-place finish at the prestigious McQuaid Cross Country Invitational, Wanck turned in an equally impressive sixth-place finish at the Paul Short Invite at Lehigh University.
