STAC BOYS GOLF: TALADA FIRES CAREER-BEST ROUND; LEADS WAVERLY TO WIN IN SEASON FINALE (2024-10-10)

WAVERLY — Junior Mac Talada fired a career-best round to lead Waverly to a season-ending win over Chenango Valley here Thursday in STAC boys golf action.

Talada shot a 44 on the front nine at The Club at Sheoard Hills, while senior Carson McIsaac fired a 45, and freshman Griff Walter had a 49, including a birdie on the par-5 5th hole..

Senior Devyn Kinney shot a 51 for the Wolverines, and sophomore Daniel Fischer added a 52. Freshman Daniel Brady tacked on a non-scoring round of 58.

Madden Michalko led CV with a 47.

Waverly finishes the dual season at 2-12.

McIsaac and Walter will represent Waverly at the STAC Championships Tuesday at Mark Twain.
