THE VALLEY — Tioga is on the road for its first divisional football game of the season, while Sayre hosts Towanda for its Homecoming.

In Saturday’s other marquee event, the Athens and Sayre cross country teams will be in action at the NTL Coaches Invitational.

FOOTBALL
Tioga (3-2) at Newark Valley (1-4), 1:30 p.m.: The Tigers are coming off a 41-34 loss to Delhi, while the Cardinals dropped a 35-14 decision to Susquehanna Valley.

Towanda (5-2) at Sayre (1-6): The Redskins are coming off a 55-7 loss to South Williamsport, while the Black Knights rolled to a 34-13 win over Athens.
