Valley Sports ReportBRADFORD, Pa. — Harbor Creek scored a pair of goals in the first 7 1/2 minutes of the game, then put the game away withth three goals late in the game in a 5-0 win over Athens here Saturday night in non-league boys soccer at Pitt-Bradford University.
“It was a tough loss to a solid team who communicates and moves very well,” said Athens coach Jake Lezak.
“We have things to improve on and need to come off the bus a bit more prepared in the playoffs,” he added.
Harbor Creek had a big advantage in shots-on-goal, and corner kicks.
Sophomore Zach Fisher recorded four saves in net for the Wildcats.
Athens, now 8-7-2, wraps up the regular season Tuesday when it hosts Williamson.
