Isaiah Bretz, a sophomore on the St. John Fisher football team has started all five games in the defensive backfield for the Cardinals.
Bretz has 22 tackles, including 14 solo stops on the season, and also has one interception, and two pass break-up.
Bretz had a season-high eight tackles, including six solo tackles, in St. John Fisher’s season-opening, 55-0, loss to Marietta College.
Bretz had seven tackles, including three solo stops, an interception, and two pass break-ups in a 35-0 loss to SUNY Brockport in Week 4.
Last week, in a 52-6 win over Hilbert College, Bretz had two solo tackles.
St. John Fisher, now 2-3, returns to action Saturday when it hosts Hartwick College.
