COLLEGE FOOTBALL: ATHENS GRAD LISTER THROWS FIRST TD PASS AT ST. JOHN FISHER (2024-10-14)

ROCHESTER — Athens grad Mason Lister, a sophomore on the St. John Fisher football team, completed his first collegiate pass, and tossed his first TD pass here Saturday in the Cardinals’ win over Hilbert College.

Lister saw his first collegiate action on Sept. 28-21 loss to Wilkes University. His only pass attempt was incomplete.

On Saturday, Lister completed 5 of 8 passes for 49 yards, and one TD. He also ran the ball five times for 6 yards, including a 10-yard run.

Lister’s TD pass came early in the fourth quarter, a 15-yard hook-up with Ryan Delanie to make it 49-6.

St. John Fisher, now 2-3, returns to action Saturday when it hosts Hartwick College.
