DISTRICT 4 SOCCER: ATHENS BOYS, GIRLS TO OPEN CLASS AAA PLAY IN DOUBLEHEADER SATURDAY (2024-10-20)

ATHENS — The Athens boys and girls soccer teams will open the District 4, Class 3A soccer playoffs Saturday in a doubleheader at Loyalsock High School.

BOYS
Athens (8-7-3) is the second seed in the boys AAA bracket, and will square off with third-seeded Shikellamy (8-8-2) at 4 p.m. at Loyalsock High School.

The winner of the Athens-Shik game will take on the winner of the game between top-seeded Selinsgrove (9-8-1) and fourth-seeded Jersey Shore (5-12-1)  at a time and date to be determined.

GIRLS
Athens (11-7) is the fourth seed in the AAA girls bracket, and will take on top-seeded Shikellamy (15-3) Saturday at 2 p.m. at Loyalsock High School.

The winner of the Athens-Shik game will get the winner of the game between second-seeded Milton (14-2) and  third-seeded Selinsgrove (14-4) at a time and site to be determined.
