Valley Sports ReportTIOGA CENTER — Large School champion Whitney Point flexed its muscles here Thursday night with a sweep of Tioga in IAC volleyball action.
The Eagles won by scores of 25-10, 25-3, and 25-14 to improve to 13-1 on the season.
Kali Bailey led Tioga with two points, four kills, two blocks, and five digs, while RaeAnne Feeko had six setter assists, three kills, and one block, and Audi Zorn registered two kills, one block, and five digs.
Jade Keaty had three digs and two assists for the Tigers, and Lilly Mezzatesta had four kills and three digs.
Tioga, now 10-3, hosts Dryden Friday evening in its regular-season finale.
JV: Tioga swept the junior varsity match by scores of 25-18 and 25-7.
Courtney Smith led Tioga with 17 service points, including six aces, and five digs, while Kate Kithcart had nine points, 15 assists, and one block, Lindsey Jeffrey had eight points, four kills, three digs, and two assists, and Brianna Lounsbury had eight points and five digs.
Sadi Marshall had eight points (three aces) and three digs in the win, while Riley Butler had seven points (two aces) and four digs, Kaylynne Miller added five points, Peyton Black registered seven kills and one block, Vida Rossi added five kills, two blocks, and three digs, and Amelia Toomey chipped in with two kills.
