NTL VOLLEYBALL: WILLIAMSON SWEEPS ATHENS IN REGULAR-SEASON FINALE (15 PHOTOS) (2024-10-24)

ATHENS — Williamson rolled to a sweep of Athens here Thursday night in the regular-season finale for both playoff-bound NTL volleyball teams.

The Warriors won by scores of 25-15, 25-19, and 25-18.

Senior Kassie Babcock led Athens with 12 kills and 17 digs, while senior Ella Coyle recorded 22 digs, and senior Emma Renninger had 10 setter assists, and five digs.

Senior Keaton Wiles registered six kills and seven digs for the Wildcats, while senior Sydney Field had eight assists, senior Gretchen Schmieg added eight digs, and senior Anna Geisinger chipped in with three digs.

Athens wraps up the regular season at 4-11, and awaits word on the date, site, and time of the District 4, Class AAA semifinals.
