WOMEN'S COLLEGE SOCCER: WAVERLYU GRAD WESTBROOK NAMED TO AMERICA EAST ALL-ROOKIE TEAM (2024-11-04)

NEWARK, N.J. — Waverly grad Kennedy Westbrook, a redshirt freshman on the Division I NJIT women's soccer team, was named to the America East All-Rookie team.

Westbrook, who sat out last year with a knee injury, played in 16 of NJIT's 17 games, and started all 16, playing a full 90 minutes in every game.

Westbrook had one goal and one assist, both in a 4-3 loss to Bryant College on Sept. 22, after which she was named the America East "Rookie of the Week."

She had six shots on the season, with two on-goal.

NJIT finished 4-10-3 on the season.
