Cole Williams, a senior captain on the Morrisville State football team, started in his 34th consecutive game for the Mustangs Saturday in a 38-8 win over Hilbert College.
Williams, a 6-4, 335-pound offensive lineman, has started all eight games this season despite tearing an ACL in his knee during the preseason.
Morrisville pounded out 159 yards on the ground in the win over Hilbert, and are averaging 154.5 yards per game on the ground this season.
The Mustangs are also averaging 120.5 passing yards per game, for an average of 275 yards in total offense per game.
Morrisville, now 4-4, finishes the season with games at St. John Fisher Saturday, and the season finale at home against Hartwick College on Nov. 16.
