TIOGA CENTER — Top-seeded Tioga cruised to a sweep of eighth-seeded Harpursville-Afton here Thursday in the quarterfinals of the Section IV, Class C volleyball playoffs.

The Tigers, now 13-4, won by scores of 25-13, 25-15, and 25-18.

Senior Kali Bailey led Tioga with seven service points, including a pair of aces, 11 kills, and six digs, while sophomore Audi Zorn had five points, four kills, and three blocks, junior RaeAnne Feeko had four points, including three aces, two kills, one block, eight setter assists, and two digs, and junior Lilly Mezzatesta had four points (two aces), seven kills, one block, and four digs.

Sophomore Jade Keaty had three points and nine digs in the win, while freshman Vida Rossi had three points, two kills, and two blocks, junior Mia Hall registered two kills and one block, sophomore Vanessa Tunnicliff added two assists and one block, and Lydiah Decker chipped in with three digs.

Gabby Priester led H-A with 15 points, while Abby Baburchak had seven points, Elizabeth Ives recorded 21 digs, Sam Sperry registered eight blocks, and Abby Affix chipped in with four kills.

Tioga hosts the Class C semi-final pool play Thursday, which will include third-seed S-VE (12-2), fourth-seed Trumansburg (9-8), and seventh-seed Thomas A. Edison (8-10), which upset second-seeded Walton (14-3), 3-1.

The semifinals will begin at 3:30 p.m.
