TOWANDA'S VANDERPOOL NAMED ZIFF LAW FIRM BOYS REGIONAL "ATHLETE OF THE WEEK"Vanderpool had one of the best individual playoff performances in program history in the team’s 42-20 win over Bloomsburg.
Vanderpool finished with 236 rushing yards and all six of the team’s touchdowns on 21 carries. He scored on runs of 73, 30, 41, 27, 7, and 24 yards.
He also had an interception on defense.

WELLSBORO'S KOSEK, NOTRE DAME'S KEOUGH NAMED ZIFF LAW FIRM GIRLS REGIONAL "ATHLETES OF THE WEEK"In her second trip to States, Kosek ran to a top-10 finish.
A week after a runner-up finish at the District 4 meet, Kosek finished sixth at the PIAA Championships in a time of 19:12.
Keough scored four goals in a pair of Notre Dame wins, including the Section IV, Class C title game.
Keough netted a hat trick in her final home game, a 3-1 win over Unatego in the Section IV, Class C semifinals.
Keough also had a penalty kick goal in the Crusaders' 2-0 win over Trumansburg in the championship game.
