Sidney Tomasso, a senior at St. John Fisher, has scored at least 16 points in all six games she played this season, and is averaging 21.5 points per game in the Cardinals' 4-3 start.
On Thursday, Tomasso scored 19 points, including a trio of 3-pointers, and grabbed seven rebounds in a 71-62 win at the University of Rochester. She also had two steals, and one assist.
On Tuesday, Tomasso pumped in 26 points, including four 3-pointers, in a 73-67 win at Ithaca College. She also had six rebounds and one steal, and made 12 of 14 free throws.
On the season, Tomasso is averaging 21.5 points, 7 rebounds, 1.7 steal, and 1 assist per game. She has knocked down 15 3-pointers, and is shooting 88.4 percent (38 of 43) from the free-throw line.
Tomasso, who was the Empire-8 Player of the Week earlier this season, is also moving up the all-time list at SJF.
She is second all-time with a career free-throw percentage of 85.4 percent, eighth all-time with 123 3-pointers, and 11th all-time in scoring with 1,261 points.
St. John Fisher returns to action Saturday against RIT.
