Haney, who possesses great foot skills, a high soccer IQ, and very good speed, scored 18 goals and dished out seven assists, to help Tioga to an 8-1-1 start on the season. She is the program's all-time leading foal-scorer.
Haney missed the remainder of the season after suffering a knee injury, and the Tigers finished 9-6-1.
Haney shared the MVP honors with Newark Valley's Adrianna Finta.
FIRST TEAM
Grace Howey, 8th-grader, Tioga: The Tioga offense ran through Howey, who has a tremendous soccer IQ, great foot skills, and tremendous vision of the field. She scored 21 goals, and dished out 14 assists.
Erica Bradley, senior, Tioga: Bradley, another all-around soccer player, played from end-to-end for the Tigers. She scored 10 goals and doled out 10 assists.
Taliah Speer, senior, Tioga: Slightly under-sized at keeper, Speer made up for it with grit and athleticism. She allowed 2.2 goals per game, and recorded 147 saves (9.2 per game).
SECOND TEAM
Emily Ziwerlein, junior, Tioga: A fiery and physical defender, Zwierlein was often the last line of defense.
Marcy Moniz, sophomore, Tioga: Moniz got better and better as the season progressed, and should be a major factor for the Tigers the next two seasons. She had one assist on the season.
Kaylah Nelson, 7th-grader, Tioga: Like Moniz, Nelson get better and better the more she played, and will be more of a factor for years to come.
