NTL VOLLEYBALL: ATHENS' COYLE EARN LARGE SCHOOL DIVISION FIRST-TEAM HONORS; BABCOCK NAMED TO SECOND TEAM (2024-11-28)

ATHENS — Athens senior Ella Coyle was named to NTL Large School Division volleyball first-team all-star team, and senior Kassie Babcock earned second-team honors in voting by the league's coaches.

FIRST TEAM
Ella Coyle, senior, Athens: Coyle recorded a career-high 386 digs, including the 1,000th of her career in the District 4, Class 3A championship match.

Coyle also registered 72 service points, including 14 service aces, eight setter assists, and two kills.

She had 370 serve-receives and 51 serve errors for a success rate of 87.9 percent.

SECOND TEAM
Kassie Babcock, senior, Athens: Babcock had 14 8 points, including 32 aces, 208 kills, three blocks, and five setter assists.

She also 250 serve-receive, and 43 receive errors for a success rate of of 85.3 percent.
