THE VALLEY — Tioga wrestling and Sayre girls basketball will host games on a thin Wednesday night slate of action.

WRESTLING
Marathon (0-1) at Tioga (1-0), 6 p.m.: The Tigers topped Groton 65-12 last week in their season-opener, while the Olympians dropped a 74-0 decision to Newark Valley.

GIRLS BASKETBALL
Wellsboro (2-1) at Sayre (1-2), 6 p.m. (varsity only): The Redskins are coming off a 42-9 loss to Towanda Wednesday, while the Hornets dropped a 54-43 decision to NEB.

NP-Liberty at Athens, POSTPONED: The game has been re-scheduled to Jan. 4.
