THE VALLEY — Athens wrestling is on the road at Wyalusing, while the Sayre boys basketball, Waverly boys swimming, and Tioga bowling teams are at home to highlight Thursday's slate of action.

WRESTLING
Athens (2-0) at Wyalusing (5-3), 7 p.m.: The Wildcats are coming off a 44-15 win over Northeast Bradford Tuesday, while the Rams topped Wellsboro, 51-15.

Wyalusing beat NEB, 45-24, last Thursday.

Last year, Athens topped Wyalusing, 37-22.

GIRLS WRESTLING
Waverly (3-0) at Corning (0-1), 6 p.m.: The Wolverines are coming off a 40-15 win over Owego, while the Hawks dropped a 40-15 decision to Horseheads.

BOYS BASKETBALL
Williamson (0-6) at Sayre (3-2), 6 p.m. JV start: The Redskins are coming off a 66-37 win over Wyalusing, while the Warriors dropped a 60-30 decision to Wellsboro.

Athens (2-3) at Towanda (3-3), 6 p.m. JV start: The Wildcats are coming off a 67-56 win over Cowanesque Valley, while the Black Knights dropped a 63-56 decision to North Penn Liberty.
