NTL JV BOYS BASKETBALL: SAYRE FALLS AT COWANESQUE VALLEY, 41-25 (2025-01-08)

WESTFIELD, Pa. — Cowanesque Valley jumped out to an early lead, and cruised to a 41-25 win over Sayre here Tuesday night in NTL Small School Division junior varsity boys basketball action.

CV jumped out to a 16-7 lead at the end of the first quarter, then used a 9-5 spurt in the second quarter to take a 25-12 lead into the halftime break.

The Indians added to their lead with a 9-6 third-quarter advantage to take a 34-18 lead into the final seven minutes.

Declan Barry led Sayre with 12 points.

Sayre returns to action Friday at NEB in a game originally scheduled for Thursday.
