THE VALLEY — Athens hosts Troy in NTL wrestling dual for the only home event on a light night of action Thursday.

WRESTLING
Troy (2-6) at Athens (4-0), 6 p.m.:
The Wildcats are coming off a 39-33 win at Canton Tuesday, while the Trojans dropped a 40-34 decision to North Penn-Liberty.

The Wildcats have a number of wrestling with winning records, led by senior Caleb Nason (13-2 at 215 pounds), sophomore Zaine Campbell (12-2 at 121 / 127), sophomore Connor Davidson (12-2 at 172 / 189), junior Karson Sipley (9-4 at 139), sophomore Brendan Cooke (9-4 at 160), sophomore Lucas Persun (8-4 at 127 / 133), and freshman Treyton Barrett (7-4 at 145 / 152).

The Trojans have wrestlers with winning records, and two at .500. Freshman Garrett Parks is 7-1 at 107 pounds, sophomore Reed Palmer is 6-2 at 285, senior Rylan Breidt is 5-3 at 172, sophomore Logan Heasley is 7-6 at 145, senior Austin Carter is 6-6 at 152, and freshman Marcus Frisbie is 4-4 at 139.

BOYS BASKETBALL
Athens (2-8) at Troy (6-1), 5 p.m. JV start:
The Wildcats are coming off a 62-35 loss to North Penn-Mansfield Tuesday, while Troy topped Towanda, 75-50.

BOYS & GIRLS SWIMMING
Athens at Towanda, 4:30 p.m.:
The Wildcat boys and girls are both coming off wins over Wellsboro.

BOYS & GIRLS BOWLING
Tioga at Newark Valley
, 4 p.m. @ Cardinal Lanes.
