Valley Sports Report
WAVERLY — Led by James Luther and Nick Slater, Tioga had four bowlers rolled 600s in a sweep of Watkins Glen, while the Lady Tigers picked up four points via a forfeit in IAC bowling action at the Valley Bowling Center.

BOYS
Tioga 4, Watkins Glen 0

Tioga won the first game 978-789, and edged the Lake Hawks, 1028-1,020 in the second game. The Tigers closed the match with a 1,046-789 win in the third game for a total-pinfall victory of 3,052 to 2,589.

Luther banged out a 647 series on games of 218, 204, and 225, and Slater rolled a 643 on games of 233, 209, and 201.

Mumbulo shot a 612 series on games of 168, 244, and 200, while Charles Holmes had a 606 on games of 176, 222, and 208, and Garrett Godfrey added a 544, including a 212 in the third game.

Brett Cullen-Pike shot a match-high 674 to lead the Lake Hawks, including a 279 in the second game.

GIRLS
Tioga, 4, Watkins Glen 0

Selena LaFritz led Tioga with a 483 series, while Kelsey Helmich shot a 473, Sabrina Ellis rolled a 418, and Kate Bleiler added a 356.

Tioga rolled a 1,997 team series.

Tioga returns to action next Tuesday when it hosts Candor.
