THE VALLEY — Girls sports headline Wednesday's action, with the Waverly and Sayre girls at home against divisional foes, Tioga hosting Waverly and Elmira a double-dual wrestling match.

GIRLS BASKETBALL
Athens (7-4 overall, 1-1 NTL Large) at Wyalusing (7-5, 2-0), 6 p.m.:
The Wildcats are coming off a 52-27 loss to Troy Saturday, while the Rams beat North Penn-Mansfield, 62-46, for their fourth straight win.

Wyalusing handed Troy its first league loss in two years, 43-40, on Jan. 3.

North Penn-Liberty (4-6, 1-3 NTL Small) at Sayre (1-8, 0-2), 6 p.m. (Varsity only): The Redskins are coming off a 64-21 loss to Cowanesque Valley last Wednesday, while the Mountaineers dropped a 54-42 decision at Canton.

Seton Catholic (0-8) at Waverly (10-0), 5:30 p.m. JV start:
The Wolverines are coming off a 46-42 win at Ithaca Monday, while the Saints dropped a 67-14 decision to Chenango Forks.

BOYS WRESTLING
Waverly (9-2) at Maine-Endwell (7-1), 6:30 p.m.:
The Wolverines are coming off a 65-12 win over Chenango Valley, and a fifth-place finish at the Southern Tier Memorial, while the Spartans topped U-E, 63-9, and finished third at the Dan Wickham Classic at Unatego.

Tioga (2-2) at Trumansburg (1-7), 6 p.m.: The Tigers are coming off a 46-21 loss to Horseheads, while the Blue Raiders dropped a 59-18 decision to Marathon.

GIRLS WRESTLING
Waverly, Elmira at Tioga, 6 p.m.:
Over the weekend, Tioga finished fifth at the Southern Tier Memorial, while Waverly was 11th and the Express finished 13th at the event.

BOYS & GIRLS BOWLING
Windsor at Waverly, 3:40 p.m.
