SECTION IV INDOOR TRACK & FIELD: CHAMBERLAIN PLACES IN TWO EVENTS TO PACE WAVERLY'S EFFORTS AT QUINNEY INVITATIONAL (2025-01-18)
Valley Sports ReportITHACA — Junior Mackenzie Chamberlain placed in two events to pace Waverly's efforts here Friday night at the Quinney Indoor Track & Field Invitational at Ithaca College.
Chamberlain placed third in the 3,000-meter run in a time of 11:45.28, and sophomore Taylor Sinsabaugh was 14th in 14:02.66.
Chamberlain teamed with junior Haley Larrabee, freshman Addison Temple, and senior Harper Minaker to place sixth in the 1,600-meter relay in a time of 4:38.49.
Larrabee finished ninth in the 600-meter run in a time of 1:47.11.
Minaker finished 12th in the 1,500-meter run in a time of 5:38.17.
BOYSWaverly's 3,200-meter relay of senior Nic Mattison, juniors Hayden Howe and Logan Roscoe, and sophomore Jayden Washington registered the Wolverines' only place-finish of the day, placing fifth in a time of 9:26.62.
The foursome of junior Andrew Larrabee, and freshmen Hayden Roskow, Jaxon Chandler and Connor Bentley finished ninth in the 800-meter relay in a time of 1:45.3.
Sophomore Chase Hine finished 10th in the 3,200-meter run in a time of 11:08.65.
Logan Roskow finished 14th in the 1,000-meter run in a time of 2:54.83.
Mattison finished 16th in the 600-meter run in a time of 1:33.76, Hayden Howe was 21st in 1:34.90.
Bentley finished 21st in the long jump at 17-feet, 10-inches, and Chandler was 23rd in the high jump at 4-feet, 9-inches.
Waverly returns to action Feb. 8 at the Section IV, Class B Championships at Cornell University.
