CONKLIN, N.Y. — Waverly junior Derek Johnson and 8th-grader Colten Santalucia led the Waverly boys to a sweep of Susquehanna Valley here Monday afternoon, while the Lady Wolverines, led by senior Serenity Conklin, won a 4-1 decision in STAC bowling action at Sunset Lanes.

BOYS
Waverly 5, Susquehanna Valley 0

The Wolverines won the first game 965-761, and followed it up with wins of 885-730 and 987-782 for a total-pinfall victory of 2,837 to 2,273.

Johnson rolled a 590 series, including a 235 in the first game, and Santalucia shot a 584, including a 209 in the second game.

Senior Dom Wood had a 563, including a 201, while Tristan Campbell rolled a 541, including a 201, Maison Apgar shot games of 200 and 155, and freshman Griff Walter added a 204 in his only game.

Cazz Bonsell led SV with a 534 series.

GIRLS
Waverly 4, Susquehanna Valley 1

The Sabers won the first game 716-704, but the Wolverines answered with wins of 814-684 and 778-669 for a two-point total-pinfall victory of 2,296 to 2,099.

Conklin led Waverly with a 519 series, including a 201, while Rylie Witman shot a 486, and Karis Hayes had a 471.

Ariel Houseknecht added a 421 for the Wolverines, while Aby Apgar shot games of 122 and 137, and Emmalyn Vanderpool had a 140 in her only game.

Allicyn Bissau led SV with a 521 series.

JV Boys
Waverly 5, SV 0

Trevor Allen led Waverly with a 458 series, while Camden Leary shot a 441, Nate Andrews-Larson added a 430, and Cam Wood tacked on a 413.
