WAVERLY — The Waverly boys rolled four 600 series, but Chenango Forks managed to win one point, in the Wolverines' 4-1 win here Monday, while the Waverly girls, led by Serenity Conklin's 600 series, won via sweep in STAC Central Division bowling action at the Valley Bowling Center.

BOYS
Waverly 4, Chenango Forks 1

The Wolverines opened with an 1,128-816 win in the first game, but the Blue Devils bounced back with a 977-957 win in the second game.

Waverly won the third game 1,048=919 for a two-point total-pinfall victory of 3,133 to 2,712.

Junior Tristan Campbell led Waverly with a 638 series on games of 210, 224, and 204, while junior Derek Johnson shot a 637 series on games of 256, 181, and 200, and Maison Apgar fired a 637 series on games of 218, 174, and 245.

Freshman Griff Walters rolled a 627 on games of 225, 203, and 199, and 8th-grader Colten Santalucia added a 594, including games of 219 and 200.

Landon Butenko led Forks with a 672 series, including a 278 in the decisive second game.

GIRLS
Waverly 5, Chenango Forks 0

Serenity Conklin rolled a 619 series on games of 247, 203, and 169 in Waverly's 2,665 to 1,456 total-pinfall win.

Karis Hayes shot a 570 series, including a 201, for the Wolverines, and Aby Apgar had a 515, including a 229 in the second game.

Ariel Houseknecht added a 498 in the sweep, and Rylie Witman tacked on a 515.

Mackenzie Poyneer led Forks with a 464 series.

JV Boys
Waverly 5, Chenango Forks 0

Nate Andrews-Lason rolled a 547 series, including a 200, and Trevor Allen shot a 515 to lead the Waverly JVs to a sweep of the Blue Devils.

Cameron Wood shot a 477 for the Wolverines, while Camden Leary added a 473, and Brayden Chilson tacked on a 418.

Waverly returns to action Tuesday when it hosts Elmira.
