IAC BOWLING: TIOGA GIRLS WIN LEAGUE TITLE; TIOGA BOYS PLACE THIRD (2025-02-09)
Valley Sports ReportWAVERLY — The Tioga girls won the IAC Championships here Saturday afternoon, while the Tioga boys finished third in bowling action here at the Valley Bowling Center.
The Lady Tigers rolled a three-game set of 2,376, including a tournament-high game of 834, to best Candor by 46 points.
Union Springs placed third with 2,285 pins, while Newark Valley was four with 2,267, and Edison was fifth with 2,074.
On the boys side, Candor claimed the IAC title with a three-game set of 3,189, easily outdistancing runner-up Union Springs / Port Byron, which had 2,992.
Tioga was just 13 pins back at 2,779, while Lansing was fourth at 2,809, and Watkins Glen was fifth at 2,759.
