THE VALLEY — Coming off a successful first season, the Waverly flag football team opens the 2025 campaign at Norwich.

The Wolverines finished their inaugural season at 8-2-3, but lost QB Paige Robinson, WRs Ashlen Croft and Erica Rick, RB Ally Barrett, and defensive lineman Brenae Tedesco to graduation.

Last year, the teams tied 19-19.

The Waverly-SVE girls golf match has been postponed.
