WORTHING ENDS CAREER WITH 99 WINS; SILVESTRI POST 14-16 FRESHMAN MARK

CLARION, Pa. — Tioga grads John Worthing, a senior on the Division I Clarion wrestling team, and Gianni Silvestri, a freshman, were National Wrestling Coaches Association Scholar All-Americans.

Worthing, who was also named Academic All-Mid-American Conference, had a 3.51 overall GPA in Education.

Silvestri posted a 4.0 GPA in Integrated Business.

On the mats, Worthing, a former NCAA qualifier, posted a 17-7 record this year. He finishes his career with a 99-49 record.

Silvestri finished his first collegiate season with a 14-16 record at 141 pounds.

, a redshirt junior, finished the season with a 5-12 record. He is 16-32 on his career.
