Valley Sports Report
THE VALLEY — There's plenty of action in the Valley Wednesday, including a pair of key games for Athens baseball and softball being made up from Tuesday's postponements, as well as track meets at Waverly and Tioga.

Tioga's baseball game at Notre Dame has been postponed.

BASEBALL
North Penn-Mansfield (10-3 overall, 6-3 NTL Large) at Athens (12-2, 7-1), 4:30 p.m.:
The Wildcats are coming off a 5-3 win over Milton Monday, while the Tigers edged Troy in a wild 15-14 slugfest.

In their first meeting, Athens won, 9-6, at NP-M.

Sayre (0-11, 0-5 NTL Small) at Cowanesque Valley (11-1, 6-0), 4 p.m.: The Redskins are coming off a 3-2 loss to Williamson — their 10th straight setback, while the Indians rolled over Williamson, 13-1.

Cowanesque Valley won the first meeting of the season, 16-2.

Waverly (10-4) at Owego (11-2-1), 5 p.m.: The River Hawks won the opening game of the three-game set Monday, 2-1, and can clinch the STAC Central Division title with a win Wednesday.

SOFTBALL
North Penn-Liberty (9-3, 5-3) at Athens (14-0, 7-0), 4:30 p.m.:
The Wildcats are coming off a 3-1 win over Wyalusing Thursday, while the Mounties dropped a 4-2 decision to Troy.

Athens won the first meeting of the season, 5-1.

Sayre (2-10, 1-6) at Cowanesque Valley (7-6, 5-2), 4:30 p.m.: The Redskins are coming off a 15-0 loss to Williamson on April 29, while the Indians edged Williamson, 9-8, Thursday.

CV won the first meeting of the season, 16-4.

Chenango Forks (1-10) at Waverly (5-8), 5 p.m.:
The Wolverines are coming off an 8-7 loss to Owego Monday, while the Blue Devils dropped a 5-2 decision to Seton Catholic.

Waverly won the first meeting of the season, 17-6.

FLAG FOOTBALL
Owego (9-0) at Waverly (6-3), 7:15 p.m.:
The Wolverines are coming off a 32-12 win over Chenango Forks, while the River Hawks topped Chenango Valley, 46-12.

Owego won the first meeting of the season, 46-12.

TRACK & FIELD
O-M at Tioga, 4:30 p.m.
Seton Catholic at Waverly, 5 p.m.
