NTL BASEBALL: COWANESQUE VALLEY BLANKS SAYRE, 10-0 (2025-05-07)

WESTFIELD, Pa. — Cowanesque Valley scored six runs in the bottom of the fifth inning to invoke the 10-run rule in a 10-0 win over Sayre here Wednesday afternoon in NTL Small School Division baseball action.

The Indians opened the scoring with three runs in the home half of the second inning, and tacked on one run in the fourth inning, before finishing it off in the fifth.

Freshman Riley McGaughey doubled, and junior Kiyshon Kole singled to account for Sayre's two hits in the game.

Sayre, now 0-13, hosts Wyalusing Thursday.
