SECTION IV GIRLS GOLF: WAVERLY FALLS TO LANSING, 181-191 (2025-05-08)

WAVERLY — Hailey Baughan earned low-medal honors with a 38 to lead Lansing to a 10-stroke win over Waverly here Thursday afternoon in Section IV girls golf action at Tomasso's Golf Course.

The Bobcats won with a four-player aggregate score of 181-191, handing the Wolverines, now 10-4, their first loss this season to someone other than Corning.

Senior Breanne Robinson led Waverly with a 43, while junior Addison Hunt shot a 46, and senior Lauryn DeLill had a 50.

Junior Sophia Sileo carded a 52, while freshman Emilia Mitchell added a non-scoring round of 52, and junior Olivia Cheresnowsky tacked on a 62.

Miley Palmer shot a 45 for Lansing, and Alexandra Monacelli added a 46.

Waverly returns to action Monday at Corning Country Club against Elmira, Notre Dame, and Corning.
