NTL SOFTBALL: WYALUSING JUMPS OUT EARLY IN 11-0 WIN OVER SAYRE (2025-05-08)

SAYRE — Wyalusing jumped on Sayre early with seven runs in the top of the first inning, and cruised to an 11-0 five-inning win here Thursday afternoon in NTL softball action at Riverfront Park.

Wyalusing's Ashley Fluck tossed a no-hitter in the win, striking out seven and walking one in five innings to earn the win.

Senior Emily Chilson was the only base-runner for the Redskins, working a walk in the second inning.

Sophomore Zoey Ward was tagged with the loss for the Redskins. She allowed five earned runs on 13 hits and one walk in five innings.

Sayre, now 2-12, returns to action Saturday at Sullivan County.
