Valley Sports Report
THE VALLEY — The only action in the Valley Saturday is in Waverly, with the softball team hosting Dryden in the morning, and the flag football team hosting Johnson City at night. The Sayre baseball and softball, and Waverly baseball teams are on the road.

BASEBALL
Sayre (0-14) at Sullivan County (3-9), 10 a.m.:
The two teams will complete a game from earlier this season that was suspended in the eighth inning with the score 13-13, then will play a regularly-scheduled game.

The Redskins are coming off a 3-0 loss to Wyalusing Thursday, while the Griffins dropped a 19-1 decision to Millville.

Waverly (10-6) vs. Hughesville (8-7), 2:30 p.m. @ Lycoming College:
The Wolverines are coming off a 9-4 loss to Owego Thursday, while the Spartans dropped an 8-2 decision to Southern Columbia Monday.

SOFTBALL
Sayre (2-12) at Sullivan County (11-4), 10 a.m.:
The Redskins are coming off an 11-0 loss to Wyalusing Thursday, while the Griffins dropped a 10-0 decision to Northwest Area.

Sayre topped Sullian County, 16-5, earlier this season at Riverfront Park.

Dryden (2-12) at Waverly (6-8), 11 a.m.: The Wolverines are coming off an 11-1 win over Chenango Forks Wednesday, while the Purple Lions dropped a 15-3 decision to Lansing.

FLAG FOOTBALL
Johnson City (3-7) at Waverly (6-4), 6 p.m.:
The Wolverines are coming off a 27-12 loss to unbeaten Owego, while the Wildcats blanked Chenango Valley, 27-0.
