COLLEGE BASEBALL: SAYRE GRAD HORTON SLUGS FIRST HOME RUN AT OKLAHOMA (2025-05-18)

rayden Horton, a junior on the Oklahoma baseball team, hit his first home run for the Sooners in an 8-6 win over third-ranked Texas in just his third start of the season here Friday in SEC baseball action.
Horton was 2-for-3 with two runs scored, and two RBI in the win.
Horton blasted a solo home run in the second inning to give the Sooners a 1-0 lead. He also stroked an RBI single in the bottom of the eighth to tie the game at 6-6, and scored moments later on a two-run home run by Dawson Willis, his first of the season.
On the season, Horton has 5 hits in 23 at-bats, with six runs scored, one home run, and four RBI, and one stolen base.
Texas is now 42-11, while Oklahoma is 33-19.
Oklahoma faces 13th-ranked Kentucky Tuesday at 1 p.m. in the opening round of the SEC Championships.
