COLLEGE SOFTBALL: ATHENS GRAD MACIK POST CAREER-BESTS OFFENSIVE NUMBERS IN 2025 (2025-05-24)

MANSFIELD — Athens grad Caydence Macik, a senior on the Mansfield University softball team, posted career highs in nearly every offensive category this season.

Macik posted career-bests with a .304 batting average, 34 hits, six doubles, six home runs, 19 RBI, six base on balls, a .339 on-base percentage, and a .518 slugging percentage.

Macik had nine multi-hit games, and twice hit home runs in back-to-back games.

Macik also finished the season strong, hitting .341 (14 hits in 41 ABs) in her final 13 games, with one double, four home runs and nine RBI.
