DISTRICT 15 LITTLE LEAGUE (MINORS): SOUTHERN TIOGA BLOWS GAME OPEN LATE IN 15-4 WIN TO ELIMINATE ATHENS (24 PHOTOS) (2025-09-29) Valley Sports Report ATHENS — Southern Tioga scored eight runs in the top of the sixth inning to blow open a close game in a 15-4 win over Athens here Sunday afternoon in consolation bracket semifinals of the District 15 Little League Minors Division baseball playoffs.
Southern Tioga scored a run in the top of the first inning, but Athens answered with a run in the home half of the inning.
ST Tioga took the lead for good with three runs in the top of the third inning, and added another run in the fourth inning to make it 5-1.
Athens countered with three runs in the bottom of the fourth to close the gap to 5-4.
Southern Tioga answered again with two runs in the fifth to take a 7-4 lead, then put the game away in the top of the sixth.
Jase Blair singled and scored two runs, and Moyer Campbell added a single to account for Athens' two hits, while Jett Raupers scored one run and drove in one run, Hudson Glielmi and Colson Bishop each had one RBI, and Jorey Raupers scored one run.
Athens committed nine errors in the loss, and allowed just two earned runs.
