Valley Sports ReportWAVERLY — Waverly finished off pool with a 20-3 three-inning win over Corning White here Tuesday to finish pool play in the District 6 Little League Minors Division baseball playoffs at 4-2.
Waverly plated 10 runs in the first inning, then added seven in the second inning and led 17-3 after two innings.
Easton Donovan and Blake Wolcott were both 3-for-3 with three runs scored to pace Waverly's 10-hit attack, while Logan Naylor had two hits and two runs scored.
Beau Bauman and Spencer Avery each singled and scored two runs in the win, while Ethan Gray-Wright and Finley Cole each scored a pair of runs, and Ryder Wolcott, Jaxson Richardson, and Isaac Rosenberger each crossed the plate once.
