THE VALLEY — With heat acclimation week in the rear view mirror, the Athens and Sayre football teams begin preseason camp Monday, while NTL golfers kick off the 2025-26 sports season with a match at the Towanda Country Club.

MONDAY (1)
•  Athens begins defense of its NTL and District 4 golf titles at the Towanda Country Club in the first league match of the season.

THURSDAY (1)
•  Athens and Sayre will both be in action in the second NTL golf match of the season of 2025 at the River Valley Golf Course in Westfield, Pa.
